The Earth Day Food & Wine Festival is a weekend celebration of award-winning food and wine grown on California's scenic Central Coast, held in Santa Magarita. Enjoy the feature event on Saturday, April 17 and join us for barrel tastings, cooking demonstrations, live music, and vineyard tours throughout the weekend. Organized by the Central Coast Vineyard Team, a local non-profit dedicated to sustainable winegrowing since 1994, the event's proceeds support research, education, and farmworker outreach.

Chili Cook-off & Classic Car ShowApril 2012
The aroma of mouth-watering chili will draw you to the Pinedorado Grounds for the Annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show. Chili tasters can enjoy hot cars as well as hot chili at this annual event where chili cooks and car owners compete for trophies and prizes. Music, prizes, entertainment, and great beers all add up to great fun for everyone. It's all happening at the Veterans Memorial Hall and Pinedorado Grounds at the corner of Main Street and Cambaria Road.

The parade kicks off at 7 p.m. at the corner of Palm and Chorro Streets. Entries include nearly 100 bright floats, fun music, marching bands, animal groups and classic carolers rocking the streets of Downtown San Luis Obispo. Parade watchers are encouraged to come early and set up their blankets and chairs for prime viewing spots.
