1st Annual Autumn Harvest Day Celebration

Open and Free to the Public!
In celebration of harvest and our gratitude to the community in celebration of our 125th birthday we would like to share a day of fun and festivities for the entire family.
EVENTS DETAILS:
- Local vendors showcasing their unique items just in time for the holidays.
- Local Artist Showcase my Mystic Nature Photography
- Delicious Food available from the Gardens of Avila Restaurant and the Taco Shack
- Garden Tours of our tomato, corn and vegetable crop. Learn some tips about planting a Fall Vegetable Garden.
- Lots of great photo opportunities for family photos.
- Free Gentle Yoga Classes in our Yoga Dome from 1-1:30 pm, 1:45-2:15 pm, 2:30-3 pm.

Contests:
1 pm: Kids Costume Contest-Submit your child's name(s) for the costume at our information booth by 12:30 pm. Child must be under the age of 18.
Prize: 15 punch pass to Avila Hot Springs
2 pm: Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest for Adults: Register by 1:30 pm at our information booth.
Prize: Dinner for Two at the Gardens of Avila Restaurant
3 pm: Carved Pumpkin Contest: Bring in your already carved pumpkin by 2:30 pm. Judging starts at 3 pm.
Prize: Overnight Stay in a Spa Suite
4 pm: We will be announcing or winner of our Grand Prize Raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time during the event for $1 a ticket, all proceeds will be given to the SLO Peoples Kitchen.

The fun begins on Friday at 10:00 am with Special Shopping Deals and Entertainment throughout the Village. The Kick Off Party on Friday night from 6-10pm includes the Art Show Preview, Wine & food Pairing and Entertainment. Saturday brings demonstrating artists throughout the village, an Art Show/Silent Auction and wine tasting, and delicious gourmet food. The Festival wraps up on Sunday as you meet the Artists and enjoy their work/reproductions as you sip yet more wine from our local vineyards.

Earth Day Food & Wine Festival Weekend – April 2012
The Earth Day Food & Wine Festival is a weekend celebration of award-winning food and wine grown on California's scenic Central Coast, held in Santa Magarita. Enjoy the feature event on Saturday, April 17 and join us for barrel tastings, cooking demonstrations, live music, and vineyard tours throughout the weekend. Organized by the Central Coast Vineyard Team, a local non-profit dedicated to sustainable winegrowing since 1994, the event's proceeds support research, education, and farmworker outreach.
Chili Cook-off & Classic Car Show – April 2012
The aroma of mouth-watering chili will draw you to the Pinedorado Grounds for the Annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show. Chili tasters can enjoy hot cars as well as hot chili at this annual event where chili cooks and car owners compete for trophies and prizes. Music, prizes, entertainment, and great beers all add up to great fun for everyone. It's all happening at the Veterans Memorial Hall and Pinedorado Grounds at the corner of Main Street and Cambaria Road.

24th Annual Strawberry Festival, Arroyo Grande – May 2012

The parade kicks off at 7 p.m. at the corner of Palm and Chorro Streets. Entries include nearly 100 bright floats, fun music, marching bands, animal groups and classic carolers rocking the streets of Downtown San Luis Obispo.
